Fun Building Sprint · Free for Partner Schools

Give your students a day to build what's on their minds.

A free, founder-led design and prototyping experience for grades 3–6. Your students pick the problem. They design a solution. They walk out with something they built themselves. Sized to your schedule: a single class period, or a full day of deeper coaching and a more complete prototype. Perfect for those fun days in May post testing!

Two founders. Forty years in tech and education.

Sunny, our CEO, helped build apps millions of people use every day, including Apple Maps. Tom led the K–12 team at Google for Education. We left to build SayMake because the skills this generation needs most (creativity, curiosity, and the confidence to build) don't show up reliably on a test.

A new kind of building tool for kids.

We're on a mission to help kids thrive in their future. As our world is transformed by AI, it's critically important to train uniquely human capabilities: Curiosity, Imagination, and the ability to turn ideas into action. SayMake transforms everyday learning into building activities that foster creative confidence.

  1. Students follow their own curiosity to find a problem worth solving.
  2. They ideate and refine a solution with their team.
  3. They build and present a working prototype.
  • Confidence in their own ideas
  • Practical experience with design thinking
  • Real collaborative problem-solving
  • A prototype they built from scratch
Bring one child idea. Leave with one buildable blueprint.
How tech threads through it
Layer 1
Child Idea
The platform captures what the student wants to solve, in their own words.
Layer 2
Blueprint
The platform turns a raw idea into a buildable plan the student can hold.
Layer 3
Build Path
The platform routes the team to the right next step based on where they are.
Layer 4
Evidence
The platform records what was made and what the student said while making it.

We're in the early, building phase of SayMake ourselves. Co-Building with teachers and students is one of our core principals to ensure we create something that matters. This is a rare opportunity for students to participate in the process while learning how to build from a real-life technology company.
